Maps for SharePoint
Plot geographical data held in a SharePoint list or BCS data on an
interactive Microsoft Bing Map. Take advantage of smart pins, point-and-click
data selection, automatic geocoding to turn addresses into coordinates and
pop-ups - all without writing a line of code!
- Instant, no-code mapping - Open the On-Board Designer, point to a data
source, select your data, configure the view and that's it. Your data will
be geocoded and plotted on a Microsoft Bing map - completely codelessly!
- Use smart pins - The ComponentOne Maps for SharePoint will automatically
pinpoint each location on the map with an indicator of your choice (pushpin,
flag, ball, star, or custom image).
- Automatic geocoding - As long as you have a location identifier (e.g.,
address, postal code, state, point of interest), you can plot your data.
Maps for SharePoint will connect to Bing's geocoding service to determine
the map coordinates.
- Display rich data - Each smart pin is related to an annotation that can
display virtually anything you want. Show drill-down data, images, URLs, and
street map insets to name a few. Even create tool tips dynamically.
OLAP for SharePoint
A pivoting grid, summary chart and report in a single web part. Simply
connect OLAP for SharePoint to a tabular data source, and end users create the
pivot views they want, on demand, using the drag-and-drop interface.
- Code-free, cube-free data analysis - To get started with OLAP for
SharePoint, just insert the Web Part on your page, open the On-Board
Designer, and navigate to your data source.
- Dynamic views - Create data views by dragging fields into the row,
column and value lists. This will give you a summary of your data. You can
also summarise your data by modifying the filters.
- Totals and aggregations - Choose from many different aggregations for
the totals (Value field). Choose from Sum, Count, Average, Maximum, Minimum,
First, Last, Variance, Standard Deviation, and Variance Population.
- Pivot charts - OLAP for SharePoint automatically creates a chart from
the view you create. It supports five different chart types (Bar, Column,
Area, Line and Scatter).
- Printing - Print the grid and chart together in a single report. Users
can customise scaling, page margins, headers and footers, and insert time
stamps, page counts and a title for the report.
CoverFlow for SharePoint
Point CoverFlow to a SharePoint picture library and it will automatically
display all the images in a convenient iTunes-style carousel. It's a great way
to put an image collection at your end-users' fingertips.
ImageViewer for SharePoint
Point the ImageViewer for SharePoint Web Part to a picture and display it
with a magnifying glass. Works great for hi-res or detailed pictures that would
otherwise take too much space.
